Are you running out of SharePoint Quota?
More than just file storage, SharePoint lets you inject structure and control into your enterprise documents with the use of metadata, workflows, permissions and governance.
You can also use it to host content for intranets and provide spaces for external as well as internal collaboration, with the ability to co-edit documents and manage version control, and with access to powerful search.
There’s lots of great ‘use cases’, and as a consequence, many organisations are finding that their default storage quota (which for Enterprise licences is 1 TB for the tenant plus 10 GB for each licensed user) is not enough.
Another way to use up your SharePoint quota quickly is by using blanket retention policies: Every time an item is changed or deleted, a new copy will be automatically generated.
Whilst this is fine where your content is largely untouched, if you have a lot of ‘active content’ you may find your Preservation Hold Library quickly starts to use up your default quota.
Of course, you can purchase additional storage from Microsoft for $0.20 gigabyte/month, but for a LOT less, you can extend your available storage with low cost BLOB storage on Microsoft Azure.
Discover how much you can save
Depending on your data volume, redundancy requirements and the type of Azure tiered storage you need, our SharePoint storage pricing is between half and one tenth of the cost of SharePoint Online storage costs.
For example, a comparative quotation to store 500TB was going to cost £410,000 p.a. from Microsoft. It was less than £63,000 to store in Azure.
No lock in
A true cloud model, HubStor does not lock your data in either technically or contractually. Pay only for what you use.
Apply retention policies, put items on litigation hold, get WORM compliance and prevent data loss.
Re-purpose existing file servers as cloud storage gateways.
Creates copies, adds storage tiers and migrates data based on policies you define without adding new hardware or disrupting users/apps.
Data aware storage
Once stored in the cloud, HubStor enables you to visualise and query what you have, so that you can make better decisions on what to keep. Build policies, audit activity and perform discovery as and when you need to.
